Hi forgive me for posting a not uncommon thread but I cant copy my 8 gig m2ts video to an external because it is of course too big.

I also do not have a dual layer dvd burner so putting it on a cd is out...

I started looking up media servers and have learned that some of them will let you copy mt2s files to the PS3 HDD. Could you guys please post what server you use and any info about it?

Im not 100% sure about all the different functions they have, but one of the most common media servers is TVersity, although it can sometimes be a little fiddly.
Windows Media Player 11 can definitely be used to stream, although im not sure about saving it to the HDD though.

Red Kawa is another program i've heard good reviews about.

yea i want to save the file. seems like red kawa only saves mpegs and windows media player only streams.

ive heard about cyberlink media but thats hard to find.
