Forgive me if this seems like a stupid question, as i realize it probably is, but i still want to ask: what are the limitations of a banned xbox 360? What features would be taken away from me if i get the ban?
Currently, i only use my xbox 360 as an extender, browsing/streaming meadia center content from my vista box in the office. I have just purchased a KREON drive so i can begin to back up my games, and am looking in to flashing the firmware of my hitachi drive, but am wondering just what would be taken from me if i do get banned.
Will a xblive ban in any way effect my life on the xbox through the media center extender? Most of the content through the extender that i enjoy is on-line related, but i realize that it SHOULD be unrelated to xblive as it is coming from the vista box. So this is my primary question - will the media center connection be hampered in any way if i do get banned?
Second question is this: another thing that entices me for live is the netflix option that will be added in the fall updates. Will this be taken away from me if i get banned after updating my xbox, or once i get the netflix update, will it remain on my xbox for use, even after a ban?
And, my second question i am interested in is, if i am NOT an xblive subscriber, is it still possible to get a xblive ban if i have my xbox connected online?
If losing on-line play, and the ability to download demos etc is all i will lose from being xblive banned, i really dont care, as i havn't even subscribed to xblive for over a year now...
Thanks so much for any clarification you can provide me!!!
