hey guys just wanted to know from some experienced users what the best way to backup a 360 game ? I can get anything I need and I am pretty savvy with torrents and have been thinking about a Korean drive any suggestions ?

definitely definitely definitely go with the Kreon drive. You'll find it all over the board with people also saying that you should just spend the 50 bucks and get the drive. It makes backing up ten times easier. The only other method is the wxripper method. That is just a pain, and ever since I got the kreon, I would never do the wxripper. I would highly recommend making the purchase.

i got mine off of ebay, was like 40 bucks before shipping. however, if you have an old 360 drive laying around you could use that also, it just has to be flashed with the 0800 Fw and then it can dump the games to your pc, but the kreon drive is still easier. the only upside to using a 360 drive with the 0800 FW is it dumps a more 'authentic' iso file.

ya I just ordered my drive off e bay now got it for 46 bucks.how much does it matter were the verbatims were made they have a sale on them at micro center 20 for like 24 bucks. I think they may have been made somewhere else than sigaport tho is it a bad idea to get those ?

well everyone recommends to get the verbs from singapore. However, I have never looked (when purchasing) at the location they were made. I just bought them, and I have never had any issues. Now I might have just gotten lucky though.

well I am not sure were these were made I think if I remember right it was Taiwan or may be japan, but once again I am not sure but I will def post what happens or if I have any trouble with it.

I spent $58 after taxes and shipping to get the 20 pack of vertbatims, and i went to my local futureshop and they were on sale for $22. Paid $25 after taxes and waliked out the door. Both made in singapore. What a p*ssoff though eh.
