I flashed my hitachi 79 with the 79unlocker and all maximus firmware toolbox. Put the drive back in. Then spent 2 hours making a backup of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 with the hotswap method using wxripper/xdvdmulleter/clonecd I used the method with the wxripper where you change the notepad layout file to the first three lines having D at the start. The game ripped perfectly it appeared. They all said DONE. So then I used xdvdmullter and did the ss merging process, and it downloaded the files from the web and such. All said it was good and compatible with the ixtreme firmware. So I burned the iso using clonecd on 2.4 speed and it took 50 minutes. Placed the DL-DVD in my xbox, it said READING, then the screen went black like it was loading. I was all proud and then it comes up saying Disc is unreadable. Try cleaning the disc with a cloth.
WHAT DID I DO WRONG? Anyone have any experience in this and would know why this happened? Thanks.

That method of making games is outdated. Get a Kreon drive

you really would be 10 times happier if you did get the kreon. It goes so much faster, you don't have nearly any of the hassle.

Yeah, I used +r and my kreon drive was shipped a few days ago. It will probably take a week or two to get here. Was just trying to use the hotswap method for Bad Company which is an awesome game btw :D
With the kreon drive, does it have any problems reading the discs, because the hotswap method gave me the CRC error on every disc.

No problems with the Kreon drive. Just use Xbox Backup Creator and go for it.
I think if you would have taken your .iso and let XDVDMulleter do all the fixing with the autofix tab, you would've been good. You said you downloaded the files and patched them in yourself. Could've been something like a .pfi or .dmi file from a different region game having a differet CRC check which would still show in mulleter as a proper stealth image but wouldn't boot with ixtreme 1.4
Also make sure you use Made in Signapore Verbatims.

I agree. This is what I've been playing online the most lately. I'm burnt out from CoD4.

Well I used the xdvdmulleter that way, but I think the problem is because the first three lines were dummied, which left a big empty space in the iso, which caused the 360 to say unrecognized disc. I can't wait for my samsung to get here!
