Hi guys,

I am looking for an answer to a question I have been curious about for a while. I know the 360 can play various .avi files from a USB flash drive, depending on the container used, and I use this feature regularly. However, can the 360 play high def files off the flash drive and display them in either 720p, 1080i or 1080p on my high def tv without any mods or extra purchases, or is this asking too much?

At the moment I only download standard definition files because the 1 time I downloaded a larger HD file it didn't look all that high def when on my tv, but if there is a way to get it to work, I would be very happy.

Thanks in advance for any helpful replies, I could do with as much advice as possible to be honest.
