ok, I am attempting to flash my samsung ms28 drive with a VT6421A sata card. The tutorial says to use iprep, but the video it points to says to use xtremebootmaker. I am confused. I tried loiading the ixtreme 1.4 bin into xtremebootmaker and it says invalid. It worked fine with iprep, but according to the tutorial I cannot use iprep. the tutorial says something about hex editing, but in the ebay description of my item it says...

For XBOX 360 users, this card is the VT6421A (6421A) chipset. The only difference between the VT6421A and VT6421L is that the VT6421A requires MTKFlash (flash) to hexedit the port I/O's. If you use Xtreme Boot Maker, XBM will do this for you automatically.

So what do I do, is it just me or do the tutorials point to older videos that reference outdated steps or firmware?
