Hello,

When i play a dvd or a mkv file with dts audio and i stop the movie or close the program i used to watch it, my computer completely freezes. I've tried many different programs (powerdvd, windvd 8, media player classic with AC3filter) and they all give the same result. After i've watched the movie i need to reboot the computer because it completely freezes. The movies themself are fine, no problems with the audio.
I have a realtek ac'97 built-in soundcard with the latest drivers, which ofcourse has no dts support, but the software decoding of all the programs i mentioned are working fine, it's just that i need to reboot after i watched the movie.
My question is: what can i do about this? I've looked al over the internet and no one else seems to have this problem. My system is a bit old by the way, it's a amd athlon 64 3000+ with 2 gigs ram and a geforce 6600 256 mb, but it handles the movies and audio quite nicely, so i guess the freezing problem is a case of faulty software (or maybe codecs? I've reinstalled the k-lite codec pack a couple of times with no result so i dont know if that's the problem)
