convert avhcd to regular dvd & eliminate audio - Best Way?

I am looking for the simplest way to convert & burn an AVHCD video to a regular DVD. I would also like to remove the audio track if possible.

I currently have HDWriter (came with the Panasonic Camcorder), Nero 8 Ultimate running on Vista 64 on a dual core AMD machine.

This is a recurring task for me so I am hoping to automate the process as much as possible.
