Need help running Yggdra Union UMD on modded PSP!

Have a modded PSP with firmware 3.90. Just bought Yggdra Union UMD game and it won't work on my PSP. The disc is brand new with no visible scratches. Do I need to do another update on my PSP? Can anyone tell me how to update my system. My friend has always done this form, but I liked to try it myself.

You meant 3.90 M33 ?
