hello, i had a ms28 drive in my 360 with 1.3 firmware and when playing games would usualy get a jittering thing happening, it would seem like it was lagging and having a seizure? The drive died and i have had a new drive put in ms28 again with 1.4.1 firmware (which was supposed to also correct the jittering problem) but it seems like it has returned...any idea of what it could be? something wrong with the processor maybe? or my backups are just being done on bad media? They were done on Memorex DL

Yea i would only use verbatim's my benq has no problem at all with them, and the only game i ever had an issue w/ was gta 4 and that was just a texture problem. Also what speed is your drive at? that may have something to do with it maybe too low. But yea you really want to be using only verbatims (100% burn rate on them for me w/about 50 burns).

could it be the xbox overheating or something? it seems to take about 15 minutes or so into the game for it to start doing it. IF i restart it will usualy be ok for another 15-20 minutes afterwards then do it again. It's not EVERY game but it is quite a few of them it seems to do.

sorry to double post but I need to bump and ask more indepth question...I was wondering, what if this problem is caused by my LCD HDTV? is that possible? it seems like a horizontal line runs up the picture then followed by the lag/jittering. Is it possible becuase im using a cheap 32'' walmart LCD tv that it is unable to handle the frame rates possibly? Because after i turn off the x360 and start it back up usualy it will tend to work for a period of time.

It might not be the hd tv.

Question which games are you trying to run.

Certain games caused medical problems for people and microsoft release patches to stop the motion sickness problem aka the jitters which game are you running.

Because in several microsoft flight games they have released patches to fix motion sickness issues.
