Hi Everyone,
I am trying to make a copy of Weeds season 1.
I've ripped the DVD using DVD Shrink 3.2 and Magic DVD Ripper.
I tried both of them because i thought there might me a problem with one of them. But the problem is just burning it i think.
I have Nero 8 and DVD Decrypter and both will not work for me.
HP DVD+r 8x is the blank disc i am trying to burn it on.
Can someone please tell me what these write errors mean and tell me what i am doing wrong.
Thank You to any one who can help.

Dvdfab HD decrypter is a better ripper to use.
Try using imgburn as it's much better than nero IMHO.

Bones and RTM have it right on.
Nero 8 conflicts with Dvd Shrink, and Imgburn is a better burn engine that Nero anyway, IMO.

Poor media equals poor quality burns. Use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, or Sony.
The process is pretty simple when laid out.
Rip with DvdFab Hd Decrypter
Transcode with Dvd Shrink
Burn with Imgburn
Use good quality media, burning at 6x or 8x max, no multitasking.
This renders good, quality backups.

Most Calibration Errors are caused by what 7thsinger stated in his post, poor media. Get some high quality media and try again. Also be sure to slow your write speed down to roughly half the disks rated speed at least until you get an idea of how your burner and media work together.

What does this mean?
Means your burner cannot configure the laser to best burn the disc
Reasons :
1) burner firmware update is needed
2) burner going bad
3) poor quality discs

Purchase either 8x (the ones I prefer) or 16x
Burn at 1/2 of rated speed of disc
Or in the meantime till you receive your TY discs, you can purchase some $ony discs. They are OK ( $ony's can be found at local B+M stores)

Thanks 1bonehead & rtm27
You guys give good advice
P.S Do you guys know if there is any good quality LightScribe media.
My burner can do LightScribe. I have never tried it. But want to give it a shot at some point in time.
Does YT make them. Or are garbage.
