So i did the x-clamp fix...
did the 12v fan mod, because my fan wasen't spinning properly..and now they sound like jet engines...

my new problem is; i started up a game. and noticed it had white vertical lines running through it. So i restarted my machine, and the lines were gone. Started playing the game, within 20 secs of actually play time, my screen went blank and i had white vertical lines running across the screen....

Suggestions? Help plz?

8. Reset your Xbox 360 video settings

Remember this one if you're in the habit of carrying your console to chum's houses and hooking it up to different displays. It can end up trying to output the wrong signal, so you can't see anything or get a flickering screen. Fortunately, there's a fairly simple fix if this happens. Remove any discs from the tray and turn the thing off. Then turn it on using a gamepad. As it boots, hold down the Y button, then hit and hold the right trigger. The video settings will reset to default, and you'll stop your sobbing.

don't know why? if it was my 12v fan...no bloody clue anymore..

help if there is any help out there..?

well i unsoldered my fan off the motherboard, and now it starts up no problem...

i'm so very confused...
maybe i should try another 12v spot on the board..
