Hi,

Any got any idea what this modchip is? I took a picture of it. Would like to know so I can update the propper firmware.

It looks like an early D2Ckey to me. If I'm correct on that then I have good news and bad news for you.

Good news: you dont need to update it. D2Ckey plays every game on the market.

Bad news: it cant be updated, so if a future game finds a way to detect it like what happened with the early generation chips you're outta luck.


And just so you know for next time you dont need to start three threads for every update you have on the same problem. Just add to the existing thread or edit your original post.

IF this is a DC2key chip? Thoght it wont' work on older Wii chip? I think mine says somethining like DA1?

There is no DA1. What you need to look for is the smaller black square which all the wires are on top of....so I guess you can't see it lol. But it is a D2C.
