Have a Starview The Box PVR and it won't hold channels so I am regularly having to Autotune. I tune via ex C&W but when I go to retune it is always defaulted on TW.

Any suggestions? Sick of going to regular channels to see it Bad Channel or Scrambled. Not what you want on ITV2.

Hi
Can you explain what you mean by 'Won't hold channels'?? do you mean they won't stay clear to view??
Also it is quite normal to default to another provider.
What Firmware do you have installed, this is important and will most likely be your problem.
To find your present Software version press Menu/System Setup/System Information, and report back or goto the link below and read, then install v4.506Oct F/W and continue to read all that link to get it working.

Excellent. Will try that.

What I mean by not holding channels is that it will initiall tune them in but then after a day or two the are bad or scrambled so I have to retune

Only me again. It seems that I have lost most of our channels. It's is holding quite a few but many, many have disappeared and I can't seem to get them back.

Have followed all previous threads and links. F/W is all up to date etc, have followed all processes perfectly even restoring to factory default and starting over, but still doing same i.e highlighting most of the channels in yellow during Autoscan thereby not tuning them in.

The wife is 9 days overdue and not very happy about it! Any suggestions bar me running to the pub?

Hi
You've not read enough about the current problem, virgin are peeing about with keys and ALL cable boxed are down, you will have to be patient and manage with FTA or do something different till its sorted.

Right. Really? Sorry. They could have timed it better!

Has this happened before?

I did get a warning a few weeks ago on screen after retune.

What's FTA or am I being really thick now?
