i got a wii .iso file and i cant burn or even see the files inside.
do i really need a LG drive to burn?

You can never see the file inside, wii games are printed backwards (from the outside going on) so the disks and isos are basically unreadable on a computer. Imgburn or nero will be able to burn the iso, but I dont know of anything that can view the files inside.

No.
Trucha Signer can open Wii ISOs and extract their contents. OP needs to find it themselves though.
