additional hardware for SNES/GBA/PS1 games?

hi,
I know how to put PS1/GBA/SNES all the good old games on my psp. my question is do you need any additional hardware connected to your PSP/ becuase someone told me you need a controller or something? but i thought all the PSP buttons are enough to control everything??

That "someone" is an idiot. You can use the PSP controls just fine. Just rebind them to fit your needs.

To play SNES and GBA you need custom firmware. PS1 games you can buy from the psn store, if you download them you need custom fimrware
