i've done the research but still confused. what is the 1 sata chip card that could flash all 360. or is there 1 for each drive. please can some one tell me what sata chip card should i get.thx in advance

well i have successfully flashed a 360 w/2 computers, one w/a mobo that has the via chipset (which is what i think most of the cards are) and one w/ n-force 9 (i think it was 9). But there is tons of information out there in have you tried the sticky's yet?

k thanks. yeah i read the stick's. all they mention is for the hitachi drives. nothing really about the samsung's.

i think the one for hitachis is a 3112, however, you usually do not need is as most can be flashed with onboard sata slots.

to my understanding the hitachi 78 needed a sata chip or did i read it wrong! whats the difference with raid /non raid?

not sure on the hitachi, but i would buy whichever card is used for them as it will only benefit you when it comes time to do the flashing, and get the non-raid cards; or at least a card where raid can be turned off, otherwise it will cause you more problems than you can deal with.
