i have a psp phat and trying to use UPTV5 but it freezes on formating flash1. it is a T-082 motherboard. before i gave it away it was at 371 0r 390 not sure.any suggestions, i have a working psp and a non working psp.is there a way i format it through the working psp? have the flash one formater but kind of hesitant to use it?
i have been working on this for a few days between work and school.

Use the flash1 formatter. Should solve the problem.

worked like a charm. didnt know that the uptv5 had this tool built in it.
one more question, why would the psp turn on only w/the service battery,the other two batteries work fine. would thisbe a faulty power switch? i am guessing a bad switch, any one know were to get one.
