Hi, I have a slim with custom firmware on it, I purchased a Pandora battery and magic stick on eBay, tried it in the fat psp with 3.51 on it, nothing happened. It worked on my slim psp, so I know it is legit. I was searching the forums on here and found one with a tutorial on how to make your own Pandora with a psp with custom firmware on it. I tried it on the fat psp with 3.51 and nothing happened. I put the memory card in, then put the battery in, the light turns green, nothing else happens. What am I doing wrong. Can I downgrade this 3.51? My son is driving me nuts, his brother has custom games on his but he doesn't. Please someone help me. Thanks in advance!!
Hum, sounds like the Pandora Battery you have is specifically for Slim...that's rare. Is the Pandora Battery fully charge?
(put the ac charger first, turn on the psp, and then apply the Pandora Battery to charge).
Does his brother have a Fat Custom PSP as well?
If yes, use this guide to create a Pandora Battery and create it back to its normal self.
Thanks JMobile, I finally got it to work. Like you said, my Pandora battery was needing a charge. I let it charge for a few hours, and it worked like a charm! Now I have 3.71 m33-4 on all 3 boys psp's!! No fighting anymore. Is there a better firmware I should put on them? Thanks for all your help, this website is awesome!! As far as best CFW to have, we all usually go with the latest updated firmware. I have 4.01M33-2 on a Fat PSP.
Not much of a difference though....but the one you have works the same. But feel free to upgrade if you want.
