Best SATA DL DVD Burner for 360 game burning

Hi all I recently swapped out my DVR-A08XLB1 DVD burner for the DVR-2910 both made by Pioneer. The new drive has an issue with burning however so I wanted to pull opinions and find out what the best SATA DL DVD burner is for burning 360 games.

i have a samsung sh-163l or something like that, and it has yet to make a coaster and its gone through about 100 360 games and 150+ movies. the crappy pioneer 111d only made about 50 games before it took a crap.

I've just purchased the Pioneer DVR-216D(BK)(BK is for the color only) and the drive is burning quality 360 backups quickly and is unbelievably quiet.

The drive also allows over-speed burning so I use Verbatim DVD+R DL certified at 2.4x speed (MKM-001) and I burn them at the optimal 4x speed.

The drive is also supported by the awesome MediaCodeSpeedEdit (a.k.a MCSE)(free) which is a program that patches original & latest drive firmware with different write strategy' and higher burn speeds for different media (DVD's/CD's/etc) made by different companies. It will also set the booktype to DVD-ROM (required for x360 backups).

I recommend the Pioneer DVR-216D because it's very well priced, has great firmware support (up to v1.6 after 3 months!), is a brand new high speed drive, is the quietest burner on the market and best of all it will successfully burn 360 backups.

The DVR-2910 is actually a package that includes the pioneer DVR-216D(BK) It's just that I had a problem getting it to burn xbox360 games. I have linked a copy of my first post which listed the problem I was having with the drive. I was not able to get MSCE to work for me. I finished editing the firmware but could not figure out how to load it using the dos entry. It kept telling me that the modified firmare was not valid. Anyway if you have any tips on the MSCE problem I was having I would appreciate them.
