Hi All,

I use Vista 64 bit Home Premium OS. When I have the computer on the hard drive seems to continue running like it's trying to turn on a program or acts like when you run scans on it. Next to the cursor arrow the little revolving circle comes on every few seconds. I know there are processes running in the back ground but the hard drive has never done this. I closed all programs I was using and it was still doing it. I can bring the processes that are running with task manager, Sandra lite, and Hijack This, but I can't tell which one is making my hard drive continue to run, can anyone suggest a way I can find out what is causing it continue to run like this?

Thanks for any help!
