If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it. I've been struggling to find out the name of a cartoon I used to watch as a kid. The only thing I can remember about it, was that when ever this guy got in trouble or something, his king or master would make him stick his nose in the book and them slam the book shut. Leaving this poor guys nose all red and bruised. It was like the classic punch line to this cartoon, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. If there is anyone who can help me, please respond...

was it tv or printed comic book or what?.. please give us some more to go on.. and then us "pirate scumbags" (yeah we was called that on bbc r4 earlier) can probably help you out
