Videos not accessible on 1.50 psp

My psp was a 3.5 when I got it, Mp4 Videos played fine. I recently downgraded to 1.50. When I transfer an mp4 to the psp, the video shows thst it's there when I explore the psp's folders on my computer, but when I go to access it on the psp itself, it's not there (says that there are no videos). There must be a simple solution to this, but I can't figure it out.

My emulators, mp3s and pictures are all working fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

you can play homebrew as long you install the 1.50 kernel.
