I just installed cfw 4.01 m33. I have tried snex9tyl and a PC engine emulator called psphugo v1.0.2 cfw4XX. I made sure the emulators that i got were for the slim and I am running the kernel 1.50 add on. The games run very slow and freezy. I have tried adjusting the settings of the emulators themselves but nothing seems to work. Is there a better choice in firmware to be able to play more stable emulators?? Most of the time I come across people running an older version of cfw with alot of emulators. What is the best set up on a slim to be able to play neo geo, capcom1and2, snes, etc. Sorry for all the quesitons in one post.

Ok. Sorry for the pre mature post. There are a few things in the emulator superguide that i haven't tried yet. I'll tinker with that and then post if I have any more problemos. I guess this post can be deleted. Sorry for taking up space.

Ok Now I need help with the cps2 emulator. I followed the instructions and watched some google videos on how to get it running. I'm creating the Cache zip files and putting them in the right folder. When I go to load a game its missing the 03f file for each game i try. For example Marvel VS capcpm is missing MVSE.03f. I'm running cfw 4.01 m332 with the 1.50 kernel add on. I tried putting the emu in both the psp/game4xx folder and the game150 folder. Please help. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

The files are not missing, the problem is that the emulator reads the files following its own database of file names and extensions. Those games may work fine using other emulators, its the way the developer coded the emulator. You need to rename the files, there is an app that does that. Have you heard or "Rom Center"? If you have, a similar app exists that renames and restructures the zip file. You will need to google or search the forums.

Thanks Man!! I was being silly. I found a list in english of all of the compatible romulans for that particular emu. Once I got the right one it worked awesome. Now If I could only figure out final burn.
