All this playing burned games is all new to me. I need help getting the games. Being able able to play the game. and on how to put it on the psp. I've tried it seems not be working. I have the latest sofware i just dont know whats going on. Its very agittating if you ask me. I'll appreciate any help. Plz and thank you. (plz excuss the spelling, dont feel like being all correct in what not)

Well ... you need custom firmware to play iso
To downgrade (and get a custom firmware) or unbrick your PSP, you need the Pandora's Battery. There is three ways to get the Pandora Battery.
1. Find a someone who has a Custom Firmware that is willing to let you borrow their psp. You will use their psp to softmod the battery. Meaning using software to make the Pandora. If you willing to do this, follow this guide:
GUIDE
2. Hardmod the battery. Meaning that you have to open that battery up, and pulling out a pin. Note that if you pull the wrong one, your battery would be messed. If you are willing to do this, follow this guide
GUIDE
3. The most safest way, is to buy a premade pandora battery from the internet (use google or ebay).If so, follow this guide or use the same guide on the second step. I recommend buying from DealExtreme for $10.

I dont know what custom firmware is but i already have a pandora battery and a magic memory card from pandorasales.com. So what do i do?

Maybe i should be more specific bout my psp. Its hacked already and i know becouse its VSH menu pops when i hit select. My psp just doesnt play the games. It comes up as corrupted data. is there more i need to do to it or am i just putting the games on there wrong? i dont know. I was told to get games from pspiso.com is that right? any comments would help. (Thanks)

reformat the memory card via PSP
1. Put ISO/CSO into the ISO folder.
You can get psp games from many sites ...

You cant play ISO games with a magic memory card files installed. You need to make it back to a original memory stick to play ISO games

ok thanks dat hepled i did dat and i see the iso folder. I still have a problem though. I out the iso folder into my games folder. I downloeaded two games from pspiso.com i dont know whats going on but there coming up as corrupted data. Is there anything i need to to my service mode or vhs menu anything i just want to play games on my psp (i have a phat by the way)

WHEN YOU PRESS SELECT AND U ON THE RECOVERY MENU GO TO SETTINGS AND THEN FIND WERE THE UMD MODE NORMAL AND CLICK X TO WERE U GET THE OPTION WERE IT SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT M33 . NORMALY THAT IS USE TO RUN ISOS! WELL THATS ALL I KNOW..HOPE IT HELPS.

Format your memory stick.
Get the game you downloaded, which is an ISO, a CSO, a DAX or a JSO and put it in the ISO folder that is on the root of your memory stick.
By root of the memory stick, that folder isnt in any other folders =D
now press select to open up the M33 VSH Menu, and go down to the one that says UMD ISO MODE and press right until its on 'Sony NP9660' so it runs ISO games without a UMD in the PSP.
but for this to work, you need to have a PSP Custom Firmware OF 3.71 M33-2 or above, ive gone through the whole lot of firmwares from 3.71, and etc... with a friends PSP, and they all work fine =D
so with each new firmware updata above 3.71 M33-2, you put in the same folder.

Will it hurt your psp if you don't. I installed 3.71 M33-4 using larrylje guide GUIDE: Universal Unbricker V3 Using Official Firmware FAT/SLIM PSP before he updated it on October 11.
I just added my ISO to the ISO folder, changed driver to M33 and my games load fine.
I also don't need a umd disc in drive to play the ISO's as someone said above.
I also use another memory stick that is original and it works fine too.

no, but is is better to safe since you installed an IPL code on the memory stick, we dont want to corrupt it by keep transferring data or it will fail to run.
Yes, you can the change the UMD mode to Np9660 or M33 driver. There are ISO loaders which does not need the UMD.
