Backing up psp before I brick my psp

What would I need to do back up my psp important files? Would I use a program. I'm talking about the flash0 and stuff like that. (I have no idea what that is) To sum it up, say I brick my psp. I would then restore these unique files to get it up and running again

oncve it bricks, you most likely cannot access any of the flash0 files cuz the psp becomes completely inoperable...The only way to restore your psp is using pandora battery + magic memory stick or Universal Unbricker (aka Despertar del Cementerio). I think the latest Universal Unbricker is Version 5...

You need to create two backups. A "NAND Backup" and a backup of your "IDStorage Keys". It seems you are on CFW, to backup your NAND use one of the many DC that now exist just as bandit008 stated. I would recommend that you use Universal Unbricker 3 http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313 download the files and follow the process of creating the magic memory stick and the pandora battery. Will need these two items in order to boot into the CFW menu of UUV3 and will allow you to create the NAND backup of your PSP. The "IDStorage Keys" are all of your buttons and function commands. You will need to google that one.
