in my opinion ive been burning games since i had a ps1 and i found out u could chip ur ps1 and burn games for it, and i have to say u can usually not go wrong with sony u gotta remeber sony fathered alot of the main media we use today and in the past i like sony drives but i also have a liteon lightscribe not sure of the model but anytime ive used that or my sont dru-830a and ive used that to burn game for (xbox ,wii,ps2,ps1,dreamcast,sega saturn , xbox360) see what im driving at i like sony drives but ive heard they have been outsourcing to diff copanies these days but hey who knows how long thats been goin on for but for wii burning doesnt require special drive make sure the drive can go down to at least 2-4x that way ur garrenteed decent burns normally but i use that sony dru and sony 8x media never had a problem and ive used sony media dvd-rs for a long time accu core ones had decent results wit em but im not sure about how they stack up to how long the data will stay good on there how long before a reburn is needed ive heard tdk and i forget the other brand burns last longer than others but i personally never really liked em but hey guess what ur comfortable with right!!! (i just got a pioneer 111d but very expensive hard to find for some reason)
