You have a couple issues such as the DMA being off on your HDD and not having a lot of memory to work with. However, those should not keep you from completing a successful burn ,which in fact, according to your log you did have. So what exactly is the problem with the resulting disk causing it to be a "coaster"? Does it play on you PC? What about your standalone player? It could also simply be a media proble. High quality media such as Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim can make all the difference. Please post back with some more info.

I agree that this is possibly a media problem.
I would like to add that you change the booktype to DVD_ROM and try burning at 6x or 8X.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Thanks for the help. Now, I am using VERB-Lightscribe. It will play on pc. Not on stand alone player. Now, I backed up same title on one of my Sony's code out as Sony, and it was just fine. While we are looking at this, anyreecommended lightscribe media you could recomend?

dialysis1
I did burn at 4X.
and how do I change booktype to dvd rom? That's how it has been set, If it has been changed I am sure how.
Thanks for the help!

An update. The LG Drive won't allow for bitsetting. Now, can you recomend a lightscribe burner that will?
