Dear Afterdawn Members

Problem: I Was Working With Smartbuy Dvds x8 Burning At x4 Speed and No Problem With Ps2 games.
Then I Saw Smartbuy Dvds X16 Same Brand Just speed Is different.
When I try To Burn A Game Using x4 Speed Using The Smartbuy x16 Dvds The Game Will Try To Loads But Black Screen Holds. Then I try To Burn it with x8 And The Game Is good.

1. What Is The Best Speed To Burn A Ps2 Dvd Backup ?
1A. Dvd That max Burn Speed is x8 (Same Brand Dvd) Smartbuy Is x4 ?
1B. Dvd That max Burn Speed is x12 (Same Brand Dvd) Smartbuy Is x8 ?


2. At What Speed Is The Laser being Stress at What Speed x4 x8 x12 x16 ?

3.Any Others Ideas ?

always burn at half the speed of the disk :)
try some sony media there cheap when there on sale like $22 for 100

yes I saw forums that says that the best is the half of the dvd
x8 =x4
x16 =x8

when i try to burn at x8 it work fine

But is the laser having some stress or something ?
