I'm trying to play PAL links Xbow training (WiiFrii'd to NTSC-U) but it requires an update.
I blocked the update with my Wiikey config disc, but obvious as it needs the update, I cannot start the game.

Is there a place to download the updates of certain discs individually for your region?
Or something similar?

1) Bumping isnt allowed

2) If for some reason you decide you must bump at least wait 24 hours from the original post to do so

3) To answer your question: No, there is no place you can download specific updates. Your best bet is to run an online update and update to 3.3, or if you dont want to go that far get a copy of mario kart from your wii's region and update from that as it contains firmware 3.2

I downgrader to 3.2U from 3.3U so I could use WiiFrii and Trucha Signer.

Are you saying that Link's Crossbow training only requires 3.2?
Because I have that already.

It dosent even require 3.2, crossbow training came out with 3.1 I believe.

The way that game updates generally work is that if the game requires 3.1E it looks for 3.1E or a later E firmware. It doesn't check for firmwares from other regions so even though you have 3.2U the game doesn't see that and tries to update.

However, with that update blocked it should still be able to run since you ARE running a compatible firmware even though its from a different region.

What happens when you try to start the game exactly? Error message or just a black screen?

Black Screen. I thought it was a firmware thing, but from what your saying it's probably just an incompatible region change.

I was trying to go PAL to NTSC - U.
