first off i am trying to get dvds to play in my dvd player burned a few off so far but no luck and yes my dvd player plays all kinds of burned cds. Ok i got dvd shrink/nero the newest one out and i got avi to dvd, from wat i read they say u should covert with avi to dvd and then u get 2 folders called (AUDIO_TS---VIDEO_TS) then i go in nero and set the little drop down menu to dvd and click on (DVD-VIDEO) then click new then pull all the (VIDEO_TS) files into nero am i right so far? and now i got dvd shrink and i have (DVD+R 4.00gb ) blank cd's wat i wanna know is dose dvd shrink compress the file smaller so i can fit like 3 movies on pur cd? and is there any wat to put a movie on a (80min/700mb cd)and make it play in a dvd player?. I just need sum one to give me a detaled instructions to burn and play cds in a dvd player can sum one help me or lead me to a good lay to learn i read so much stuff onthis topic but still i am not for sure how to do it.

also i have (3 10 to Yuma[2007]DvDrip[Eng]) its (702mb) then i coverted it to dvd with (xilisoft avi to dvd) then it is (2.27gb) so i am asking if u can compress the 2.27gb to fit on a 700mb cd and am i doing any thing wrong that u see isf so can u tell me how to do it right lol

Just burn as the avi, and no compression is needed

if i brun in avi will a dvd player bbe able to run that and why dose every one keep saying to use like a dvd converting program like avi to dvd and i hear people using iso files to

If your dvd player can play avi/divx files, it should play the files from cd's.

If you are downloading your movies, you can use dvd flick to convert them and put them onto a dvd, but no more than 2 movies. Then use shrink to compress.
