How can you tell if a game is a SL or DL? I dont see any indications when i place the disc in rawdump2.1...

The only dual layer Wii game currently is Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
If it isn't that game, it's single layer.

but i mean in the future, when more games come out that are DL, how do i find out? Is there a way for me to find it out myself, or do i have to slam my skull against the puter screen and retreat to a forum after 10 coasters on a game that just wont burn... only to find it was actually a DL game?

I'm just wondering how people figure out if a game is SL or DL...

I personally find that I can see small wavy lines on the bottom side of a DL disk if you look at the reflection of a bright light source. I've shown it to other people and not everyone can see it though, and it only works on original disks, not burned ones.

The other option is to google the game and look for torrents of it. They're generally rather easy to find. If the torrent is more than 4 and a half gigs then its a dual layer game.

ahh thats interesting about the wavy line thing... i'm going to see if i can spot that.

I would just go for a 5g torrent and forego the difficulty this is giving me. i have the 9gb iso, and while researching how to change it to a 5gb with wiiscrub and a patch... seems like a pain in the butt.
