I just got a modded PS2 so I am new to this , but basically wanted to know if someone could tell me what the best software is to backup PS2 games, including the newest titles. Since there are games both on dvd and cd, would I use different programs...
I am confused, because I've seen people saying to use dvd decrypter, and some said not to, but to use Nero or Alcohol 120, and I've also seen someone say you have to use Dvd Decrypter first and then Alcohol 120, and finally I've seen a program called DVD Fab being recommended. I just want to know a proper procedure and the proper software I need to backup my PS2 dvd games and PS2 cd games. Will this also work on my newer titles from this year I got.
sorry one more thing, if certain software is recommended such as dvd decrypter, alcohol 120 or nero for both or either dvd/cd games, should it be a particular version of this software, or will they all work with newer Ps2 titles..thanks again
Playstation2 CD-R use Nero/Alcohol 120, for DVD-R use DVDdecrypter/Nero (Nero/Alcohol can do both CD and DVD). There are also several other programs that will work. All the info is on the site.
DVDFab and DVDShrink are for Movies.
As for newer games some may need more Work, Tools, or Rebuilt depends on your Mod and if it can play DVD9.
