So I got a d2c key in my wii and I go through way to many disks trying to get games to work. I dont get it. I look at these guides and do what they say but my wii says unable to read disk on the disk channel. I have this iso, 4.37 gb in size, and I use imgburn at 4x and it dosn't work. I dont think it's the iso either because I've tried several different isos. They are also the same region as my wii. I'm using Dynex dvd+r disks if that helps. Also I noticed, imgburn will burn the disk no matter what and say it was a success (even though it wasn't) but alcohol 120 only burns isos that work. Sometimes I will use image burning wizard, select my iso speed and all that but then it dosen't let me burn it to a dvd. It says something about track 1 or something.
No offense, but if you have read the guides you would know you should not be using Dynex brand DVD-R. Use Verbatim or some other QUALITY media, not BestBuy brand. Hopefully you will have better luck.

Have you tired at 4x with any luck? It sounded from the forums that 4x was the "standard" burn speed. Just curious as I am having some issues and will try at 1x since it worked for you. BTW I am using Verbatium -R discs.
Also, Anyone know if it makes a big difference if the discs are "printable" instead of standard? Thanks.
I use Verbatim DVD-R printable and TY printable DVD-R. Using imgburn (XPSP3) on a Pioneer internal SATA DVD writer at 4x. Over 8 spindles consumed. Less than 3 coasters
3 spindles ... how about cleaning the lenses in your DVD ripper/burners?
I had similar trouble in that things were working fine but then my success dropped until a cleaning job then back on track.
Not to mention you did not make it clear if the 1 in 4 are different ISO's or only 1 ISO works but the other three (different titles) don't ... if it seems random then I suspect dirty lens business.

The only reason why i burn 1x is to ensure the quality of the game doesnt screw around when im playing. I could burn 4x or 2x but i prefer 1x - takes about 20 minutes for me. Verbatim -r is better in my opinion.
Also for scratch disks use brasso to fix all scratched media it works charms.
Not enough detail from the original poster to give a proper diagnosis. Which three work? Are they the same ISO? What is the error that Alcohol is giving you? "...something about track 1 or something" is not clear enough to help you out.
Ok, I looked at all my succesfull burns and they all had one thing in common. They were burned on Maxell Dvd+R 16x dvds. I got some more of those and still cant get them to burn. I used to get my isos to burn in one try using alcohol 120. So now it says this,
Type: Standard ISOImage file
Path: C:\Documents and Settings\Scott\Desktop\
Name: WarioWare Smooth Moves USA Wii.iso
Size: 4482.25 MB
Session: 1
Track: 1
Image type and format
Track format [Data Track Mode 1]^
Block size [bytes] [2352]^
Image header size [bytes] [0]T
Image trailer size [0]T
[]Data was scrambled already
[]Data contains EDC\ECC info sections
Note:
Because an unsuportes image file format is being used, you should
manually set the track format, block size and other information. You
MUST do this to record the image file
NOTE:The unsuported image file will be burned/emulated as a
ONE-track only disk. If this image file contains multi-track data, the burned/emulated disk will not be recorded the same as the origonal disk.
( []^ means multi option box, []T is a type field and [] is a check box)
so what do I set it at? It never used to give me this window. Also, I have tried to burn this iso at 1X in img burn and nero 6. No luck. And im sure its sot the iso because I cant get any iso to burn.
