PSP cfw 3.52 m33 install trouble

I am having the same problem as losmate (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/629715).

I downgraded to 1.5, put the appropriate files on the mem stick, and ran 3.52 m33 creator.

I get:

3.52 M33 FIRMWARE CREATOR

Loading 1.50 firmware... OK.
Writing 1.50 firmware... OK.
Loading 3.52 firmware... OK.
Writing 3.52 firmware...

And PSP just keeps running but never completes.

Any suggestions?

I think you need to go up in phases and not just straight into 3.52.
You could try to go from 1.50 to 3.40oe and then from there install 3.52m33 You also might have idstorage key issues if you have a ta-82 mootherboard. If you are on 1.50 you should be able to just get the files and run them like a normal update.

Thanks for your help. I've actually sorted the problem already.

I tried running the M33 Creator again to see if it worked, but had the same issue. I left it to run for a while and actually forgot about it. After about 1 hour, it completed, and I got 3.52 m33, then updated to 3.52 m33-4, then went straight to 4.01 m33 and on up to 4.01 m33-2 and added the 1.50 kernel.
