Can anybody help I have Samba De Amigo backup and when I try and load it if I use wiiblocker 1st it just gives me a black screen and if I dont use Wiiblocker, it wants to do an update.. I have a wiikey fitted with the latest firmware and my wii is version 3.1e .. Can anybody help or is the game crap and not worth the hastle...?? :)

why would you want to wii blocker a back up in the first place? If the game is your own back up it should be the same region and wii blocker would only make it not playable hence the black screen.

Now if you are talking about a downloaded game iso and you wanted to wii block it because you have a 3.1 E and the game is ntsc or jap that is understandable. Then you regionFrii to block it and play it on your 3.1e wii. Then play it. Also make sure your wiikey is set to region override. Us config 3.1 disk should allow you to do so.

I have always used wiiblocker because that was what I was told when I first started.... But any idea if its safe to do the update the disk is wanting to do when I dont use wiiblocker.. cheers

you can do the update, i checked the iso first in brickblocker to make sure that it was the same region, and no problems on my ntsc wii with wiikey
