Burnt Copy of God of War (PS2) Skipping. Why?

My burnt copy of GOW skips so much I haven't even passed the intro cinematics yet. Why is this? I did everything right. I use Swap Magic 3.6 and burned all games at 4x. I used a Maxwell 16x DVD-R. All my other games work perfectly.
