i have a d2sun v3.0 with wiiclip, when i clip it on the wii and the wii is not assembled it works fine and plays backups but when I reassemble the dvddrive ( basically put wii back together) it stops working and d2sun's LED flashes red, I placed its protective sticker under it and the other protective label on it.
I cant fgure out what the problem might be.

happens in so many installs i've seen even without clips,, when you placed the drive back together it obviously moved the clip somewhat out of place, re-install the clip onto the drive should sort your problem

Thanks for your response, but it works fine as soon as I disassemble wii without taking the chip out. so I think its tightly in place cause it works fine, but as soon as I put the dvd drive back on the other half without even putting back any screws it works fine, you might suspect its touching the metal part but I used both stickers and label. I cant think of anything else.

it cud be still putting presure on the clip and pushing it out of place when the drive is on then when you take it off it makes a connection again, take it off and put it back on,, make sure nothing is hitting the chip when you put the drive back on, unlick the drive and re clip the connections again.

hope it works

pey111, so its still working when the drive isnt placed ontop of the chip?? when placing the drive on top check is it pushing dwn on anything??,, do u have alot of "junk" ontop of the chip protecting it,, little is more!!,, if u expect which it sounds like the drive is hiting the chip causing a bad conection try slightly bending the clip o it is not sticking up so to speak.
