xbox backup creatot 2.8 on samsung sh-d162d

i tried to backup UT3 and i am using xbox backup creator 2.8 on samsung sh-d162d with kreon firmware but when i try to read the disc VIA xbox back up creator 2.8 the start icon does not come up even the disc is in the drive.....any help would be deeply appreciated....thanks all....and keep up

i did try the 2.7 version same story all the options that i need i greyed and can't be used so plzzzzzzzzzzz...help

Make sure the disc has no fingerprints or smudges and no scratches. Try using ImgBurn. XBC sometimes can't read certain discs with lots of encryption. If all else fails, download using a torrent site.

it does read the game and shows the size of the disc..just would not let me start doing whatever xbc does..
