Can the MP Classic work directly from CD?

need some advice about playing burned movies on CD/DVD: I need burn movies on CD (or DVD) to play them on various PCs (cross-platform). Movie formats are Vob, mpeg2, wmv. I want use Media Player Classic which will be also burned on that CD(as internal player). Movie formats are Vob, mpeg2, wmv. When we put CD into CDROM it will show the CD menu, when user click on link, this should start MPC and play movie, so it does not depend on PC configuration or codecs. Can the MP Classic work directly from CD, and how to configure this? Does it make sence use data CD or data DVD?
