Hi y'all, i'm new here, so i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this thread. If not, sorry. Anyway, i was wondering, i'm trying to put a ps2 game on a DVD+RW disc, but it wont work ( the ps2 keeps saying: place a ps2 or ps disc, or something like that ), i tried to put the iso on it with DVD decrypter and Alcohol 120%, they both didn't work. I was wondering if it might be because the disc is RW. Since i read on some sites the ps2 doesn't read DVD+RW sometimes. Is this true or is there something else i might be doing wrong ?
your ps2 isn't just going to boot a backup copy, you have to use a modchip or swap magic or find another way of booting them such as action replay, memory card exploit, etc, then once you've done that, burn it. Ive never used rw's, I use sony dvd-r's and haven't had a problem yet. you should probably read up on how to burn the images too to make sure you know what your doing.
