Seriously, what the edited by ddp is up with that rule.
Who the edited by ddp cares if the topic doesn't tell you everything you need to know about the question, it's no reason to lock it.
So maybe people won't get it as easily in search results and maybe some people won't look at it cause they wont know what its about. Big effin deal! Thats my loss. It is NOT, however, rude. Its an imperfect world, and you can't make everyone do exactly what you want. I'm all for rules that help out but that one is just pointless, and to lock a post for it is ridiculous. You guys need to get a life and stop sitting around waiting to enforce pointless rules. I know this post is gonna get deleted and me probly banned but honestly I don't give a f*ck, cause at least one person will see it.

You completely ignore the explicit writing that says to be descriptive about your title when you initiate a new thread.
Your thread get's closed because of it.
And instead of PM'ing the Moderator and asking him to reopen the thread if you were to edit your title accordingly, you go on a rant filled with expletives thinking it will accomplish something?

Who said I was trying to accomplish anything? Just felt like saying it. It's ridiculous to close a question for a stupid rule like that. I can understand WANTING things a certain way, but eliminating anything that isn't perfect is just effed. Not to mention, I would never edit my title accordingly cause then I'd be giving in to a rule that is complete bulltinkle. Anyway I gotta go to work now and I don't really care what you all have to say on this matter, I was just checking to see if it was deleted. So I probably won't check back anymore. Have fun.
Wow, what a cafuffle. People's attitudes show through when threads are closed. Some people quite happily edit their title and send us a Private Message asking for them to be reopened, and poof, they are magically opened, no problem at all. Some people disappear and never post again, strange, but there you go. Then there are some people who develop a Burger King sized chip on their shoulder and launch into a tirade of abuse or just a plain childish pre-teen typed hissy fit.
(Would you like extra salt with those chips?)
It's nothing to do with perfectionists, it's to do with not wanting newbies to come here for help on a specific subject, and being faced with a page full of mindless "help" and "i have a problem" etc. At the very least how on earth can people help themselves look for help if all they see on screen is.... "help".
..plus why should our regulars ie the people who help the newbies or the moderators be faced with pages of "help". Why should the newbies, regulars, or moderators waste time sifting thru pages of "help" ?.
