Anybody get video to PC using Sharp VLZ3U?

Hello everyone.

Complete noob to this. I was reading my Sharp manual and was surprised (and dismayed) to see that the portion of the manual relating to downloading the video to the PC (via iLink) was less than a sentence long. Now I considered this the most important feature for what I want to do with videos.

It has a USB port, but that seems to just be for the still pictures. It does have an iLink port (firewire) which I'm hoping will be able to transfer video to the PC so I can edit it, but it mostly talks about RECEIVING video from another iLink port and not sending video to the PC.

So my question is, has anybody successfully done this with this camera, and what card/software did you use? Thanks ahead for the info.
