Ok here is my problem, i modded my 3.3 europe wii, well softmodded, ill go throught a list of what i did.
1. Got zelda, installed the twiglight hack
2. Homebrewchannel was there
4. Got the mplayer on the sd card, wouldnt play dvds
5. installed the dvdxinstaller
6. dvds now played
7. Got the wad istaller
8. installed cios rev 4 i believe
9. Uninstalled dvdxinstaller
10 reinstalled it in advanced with the 249
11. downloaded a backup game (naruto)
12 burned naruto after using the backup creator, made the file smaller
13. Ran the iso loader from the homebrew channel
14. Put in naruto, pushed A and wola, away it went, played fine, video choppy as to be expected
15. Got bored and stuck on evolution, and nothing, not even futurama movie i tested before would work
16. So then i unsinstalled dvdxinstall, installed using normal mode
17. now dvds work, but backup games do not,
well id rather not get a mod chip, no balls to install it ha, em but i want to stick with the soft modding, slow and not perfect yet but games are playable,
Mine will play backups, played naruto fine. forgot to mention i had patched the iso before i burned it, no em the game plays fine, but i can only do one or the other.
Its like play games, backups, then if i want to watch a dvd i need to go into the dvdxinstaller, uninstal and do a normal install
Then the dvd works, but if i want to go play a game, a backup, i need to uninstall dvdxinstaller, then reinstall it with the advanced 249 setting, and after that once again the games play and dvd dosent
