clonyxxl drive enumeration problems!

I have windows xp and have installed the winaspi 4.71a2 and have verified it is correctly installed with aspicheck.

However, when I run clonyxxl I get the "cd rom drive" setup window and it lists my drives as:

2:0 ø?Ùwÿÿÿÿ AEÔw?µÔw inA AAA AAAA=0
2:1 ø?Ùwÿÿÿÿ AEÔw?µÔw inA AAA AAAA=1
3:0 AXV CD/DVD-ROM 2.2a=2
4:0 Generic DVD-ROM 1.0=3

The first to drives should be:

2:0 hp dvd writer 200j
2:1 lite-on ltr-48125w

Alcohol 120%, fireburner, nero burning rom and every other application and systems utility see and identify the plextor and the hp dvd 200j properly.

Why the hell is clonyxxl seeing them as these wacked out jiberish?

Every time I run clony it keeps asking to identify the drives! I can never get into the actual program!
