Burn VCD using Nero but unable to play using normal VCD player.

Steps that i have done first
>choose from the new compilation then
>select the video CD mode (tried burning with many type of speed even 4X and below 2X or even 1X(commented by some expert) also cannot waste a lot of blank CDs**sob sob)=>press new
>then select the mpeg and place it into the track area at the video in put window
>write CD => really tried all the speed type also cannot play using my TV connected VCD player ==>appear bright green screen notice the time of the track was shown but still cannot play...

PLEASE Help really needed pls drop guide line... all comments are greatly appreciated... Thank you...~_~
