I've never really soldered anything before, but How hard is it to solder the switch to the spot I need?

link wont open for me as this computer doesnt have adobe on it, but why do you need to solder on a benq drive?

I've got ATI SATA Cables, and the BENQ Needs VIA or NForce. The way around it is to cut some thing, then solder a switch onto the drive or something...
