I am thinking about buying this (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9856636&povid=cat77622-env7959-module61589-rLink4) surround sound system. It says it supports the divx format, but I want to know if it can also play xvid? I guess they are very similar. I am new to this stuff so any info would be a great help.

It should play Xvids, my Philips does. The USB port is nice, get a stick and watch them from it.
