BEWARE of DVDShrink 2008 site

After trying for a long time to get DVD Shrink in vista to stop crashing I finally broke down and signed up to the site www.downloadsglobe.com. They were toting the fact they had DVDShrin 2008. I had to see for myself. WRONG!!!! The version that is available for download is 3.2.0.15. Plus all the other stuff they have can be easily found for free or for dirt cheap ANYwhere on the net. For example, AVG Free and Winzip 11. They have essentially soaked me for $50.85 for jack !@#$. Of course I forgot about Afterdawn.com and now I know what the problem is, it is IE8.....http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/707625. I should have checked here FIRST!

That's part of the reason we try and sticky stuff like the Dvd Shrink 2007/2008 scam

As well as some of the newer things like IE8 and Shrink not working or Dvd Shrink not working with Nero 8, etc.

Sad to hear someone else got roped by this scam.

I had seen it for some time now and I knew better but was desperate. I was however able to contact billing (www.upbill.com) and was told that I will see a credit in 24 hours. Which is good because I told them if I do not see it I will start dispute proceedings and possible legal action after that time frame.
