Hey all,

I was curious as to how and why bricking occurs? Does it occur when incorrectly trying to mod a PSP or can a PSP that has been modded suddenly brick itself just because?

FOR WHAT I KNOW IT OCCURS WHEN CERTAIN FILES THAT GO EITHER ON THE FLASH 0 OR ANY FLASH(I THINK) ARE MISSPLACED.
FOR ME MOSTLY OCCURS WHEN I FLASH THEMES.

IT HAPPENDS TOO WHEN YOU DONWGRADE USING OLD METHOS LIKE USING THE LUMINUS GAME OR SOMETHING. BUT NOW IT SHOUNLT WHEN U HAVE THE PANDORA BATTERY AND MEMORY STICK BY YOUR SIDE

Any time you flash your motherboard,theres a chance of Bricking.

you meant the flash drive.

Bricks come when the flash drives (built inside the psp motherboard) is either missing some files or either corrupted. This will make the PSP go in loop (forever).

Yea of course I ment the drive in it! lol The little memory thats stored on it.I think to be precise flash 1 can be messed with,but flash 0=a no-no.
